Thanks to the Subcrawlers

They ain’t all bad those young yins!

Saw this site and thought I would send in what happened to me on Saturday.

Was travelling round with my baby daughter and a load of subcrawlers got on in fancy dress. A few of them looked a bit worse for wear but I want to thank the two girls in the elf outfits who entertained my daughter for the duration of the trip.

My daughter has not been on the subway very often and with the pram and the bag it’s always a stressful time. When I saw all these kids get on the train I thought it would mean screaming but she was bouncing around and all the kids were pulling faces and making her laugh.

I know some of the subcrawlers get a bad reputation on the subway and I have seen a few rowdy boys on at night but I have to say that the kids on Saturday were all really nice. One of the girls gave my daughter her deedy-bopper head things and she really loves them.

Wish I had some photo’s as the costumes were great. The guy who was dressed as Tarzan was certainly a brave man!

Personally I have no issue with them being on the tube, as long as they all behave themselves and don’t cause any trouble. We were all young once.

Thanks to Mrs Burrows for sending us in her story. Not sure if she will be a regular contributor but it is always nice to hear of people having positive experiences on the Glasgow Underground.
